Biography

Marianne Barth is an experienced attorney whose practice is devoted to business and civil litigation, including extensive litigation in high asset marital dissolution cases. For more than 30 years, Ms. Barth has handled complex litigation involving complex business matters, product liability matters, and family law matters. She has represented physicians, hospitals and other health care professionals in professional malpractice, licensing, regulatory, administrative matters and business claims.

Ms. Barth also focuses her practice on family law, handling divorces involving family owned and professional businesses, support and child-related matters. Her years of experience handling complex civil and business litigation has given her the experience, judgment and expertise to understand and successfully resolve the complex financial, business and emotional issues that present in divorce cases. Having handled many complex litigations involving significant financial matters, Marianne brings a very unique approach to the divorce and family law cases she handles.

Marianne began her career in San Diego, CA where she practiced for 28 years at 3 of San Diego's premier litigation firms. She has been recognized by the San Diego Business Journal as one of San Diego's Influential Women and by San Diego Magazine as a Top Lawyer in Family Law. Marianne has called Austin her home for the last few years.

Ms. Barth is a graduate of Villa Maria College and California Western School of Law. She is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in both California and Texas. She successfully has tried numerous jury trials to verdict as well as administrative law matters.
