Sean D. Johnson is Of Counsel at Brophy & Bland PLLC. Sean is a successful, versatile, and effective attorney with a proven track record of achievement. He excels at strategizing effective resolutions for complex situations and building strategic relationships with clients. Sean brings experience in complex commercial litigation from previous roles at Reid Collins & Tsai LLP and Diamond McCarthy LLP. He holds a 2006 Juris Doctorate @ Seton Hall University School of Law where he was a member of the Juvenile Justice Clinic and a Bachelor of Arts, Government, from the University of Texas at Austin. Sean has experience in many different areas of law including: business disputes, contract claims, personal injury, commercial arbitration, civil rights, FLSA litigation, construction law, trademark and copyright disputes, DTPA, landlord-tenant, lemon law, tax appraisal protests, wrongful termination, non-compete agreements, wills, probate, and enforcement of foreign and domestic judgments.
Recently, Sean was instrumental in procuring a large a jury award in a civil rights case on behalf of Plaintiff Teliah Perkins in Perkins, et al. v. Hart in the United States District Court - Eastern District of Louisiana, which was affirmed by The United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
